About Us

Revolution of December 1989 was a good opportunity for young people to affirm fully in all sectors of public life in Romania. Young people then (Mircea Geoana, Adrian Nastase, Adrian Severin and others) have become a standard name of the Romanian political scene, recognized and respected names throughout the world because of high class professionalism they have shown.

Of all parties and political parties existing in Romania, the Social Democratic Party knew best to win over the young, whom he promoted to senior positions, either in local and central government or in Parliament or in the Europe.

An important role in supporting and promoting young people it is the Social Democratic Youth (TSD), the main political structure of its kind in Romania. The young Romanian Social Democrats is recognized internationally as a reliable partner TSD international organizations of Socialist Youth. Social Democratic Youth is affiliated to the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY), founded in 1900 in Paris, at the end of the Second Congress of the International Socialist Bureau, and the organization of young European socialists, European Young Socialists (ECOSY ).

TSD will continue to promote ideas to implement programs to impact the lives of young people in Romania, regardless of nationality, gender or religion, and to ensure the staff prepared for local and central government.
